Core HSE Training Modules
HSE Induction & Safety Awareness
A foundational module covering site hazards, personal protective equipment, emergency masts and alarms, incident reporting, and the employee’s duty of care, mandatory for all new entrants.
HIRA & Job Hazard Analysis Workshop
Practical training on breaking down tasks into steps, identifying potential energy releases and exposure pathways, and applying the hierarchy of controls to field-scale examples.
Confined Space Entry & Rescue (Level 1 & 2)
Covers atmospheric testing, ventilation, rescue tripod and winch operation, SCBA use, and team-based rescue drills in a simulated confined space simulator.
Defensive Driving & Road Safety
Combining classroom theory on fatigue, speed, and journey management with on-track practical exercises in vehicle control and emergency braking for fleet drivers.
Emergency Response & Fire Warden
Instruction on fire chemistry, extinguisher selection and live-fire practice, evacuation coordination, and search-and-muster procedures for appointed wardens.
Incident Investigation & Root Cause Analysis
Using real incident scenarios, participants practice evidence gathering, timeline construction, and the TapRooT® and 5-Why methods to draft corrective action plans.
Specialized Environmental Training Modules
Environmental Law & Compliance
An overview of national environmental statutes, regulations, and approval conditions, with practical exercises in using compliance checklists and interpreting consent limits.
Waste Management & Minimization
Training on waste classification, labeling, storage compatibility, manifest preparation, and techniques for conducting site waste audits and waste reduction campaigns.
Spill Prevention & Response
Covers spill risk assessment, secondary containment design, drain sealing, sorbent deployment, and the execution of drill scenarios that involve coordinated cleanup and regulatory notification.
Environmental Monitoring Techniques
A field-based course training staff in grab sampling and field measurement of water quality, air quality (using hand-held monitors and passive samplers), and noise, with emphasis on quality assurance and chain-of-custody.
EMS Internal Auditor (ISO 14001)
Prepares participants to plan, execute, and report internal audits of an environmental management system against ISO 14001 requirements, including workshops on non-conformity writing and audit interviewing.
